Justin Bieber can sing, dance and play a wealth of instruments, but who knew the Canadian crooner could play basketball with such skill. During Friday's (Feb. 18) NBA All-Star celebrity game in Los Angeles, Bieber showed and proved he was more than just an entertainer; the singer could ball with the best of them.

The 'Baby' performer did his best to play alongside a slew of celebrity participants, among them were the likes of Trey Songz, Nick Cannon, Romeo, Rob Kardashian, Common and Michael Rapaport. Bieber, who played on the West team, scored eight points with four assists and two rebounds. Basketball stars Chris Mullin, Jalen Rose, Rick Fox, Swin Cash, Scottie Pippen, Mitch Richmond and Bill Walton also participated in the game.

Despite the performer's ball handling skills on the court, his team didn't take home the victory. During the third quarter, the East team began dominating the scoreboard with a 41-33 lead. In the end, the Eastern Conference took the title of NBA All-Star celebrity champions with a final score of 54-49 (Western).

However, Bieber was tapped by ESPN's Heather Cox as the Most Valuable Player and given a trophy. Upon receipt, the teeny bopper expressed his more comical side. "We're just here. We're having a good time. We went out there and beat them," Bieber joked. "It was all because of my boy Magic over here."
