INTRODUCTION

Can you believe there’s no Wikipedia article on her? She definitely deserves attention. After all, it was her who gave Justin Bieber life, and paved the path of his success, molded him to become an inspiration for us.

THE BASICS

Patricia Lynn Mallette, more famously known as Pattie Mallette or @studiomama, was born in Ontario, Canada in 1976. She is believed to have graduated from Juliet School and North Western High school. She had Justin Bieber when she was 17 years old, with ex-boyfriend Jeremy Bieber. They tried to live together to raise Justin when he was 2 months old, but their efforts failed after four months.

EARLY LIFE

Pattie Mallette did not have an easy childhood. She was sexually abused when she was a little girl. She resorted to drugs and alcohol by the age of fourteen, and found herself in several unstable emotional relationships. One day, she attempted to commit suicide and ended up in a mental hospital. It was at the hospital, when she began to turn to faith to lead the way.

She admitted she went astray from faith when she had Justin Bieber at the age of 18, but quickly correct herself. She had stopped in substance abused, worked multiple jobs to put food on the table, and turned to an evangelical church. She is now a devout Christian and have passed on her faith to Justin Bieber.

There are reports that she tried to raise Justin Bieber up with his father, but to no avail.

LATER LIFE

Mallette is frequently attributed to Justin Bieber’s success and grounded-ness. She uploaded clips of Justin Bieber at 12 years of age, singing, for her relatives to see (which we knew eventually led the way to Scooter Braun’s attention towards Justin).

Justin Bieber frequently takes his mother as his date to events (and Valentines!), and often credits her for his success. He admits that they have their fights, but he understands that although they disagree, she is just doing what she thinks is best for him. She travels on the road with him,  is strict about his grades, diet and sleeping schedule. Sometimes she has to take away his cellphone or laptop if he is out of line.

Playboy offered Pattie Mallette $50 0000 to pose naked for Playboy, and there were rumours asserting that she accepted the deal. She did not. Her son is a multi-millionaire, why should she deny her faith to what is to her, pennies?
