"What does an international superstar do when he is celebrating his 17th birthday? Well, if that star is Justin Bieber he celebrates her birthday (almost) like any other teen with dinner out with his girlfriend,Selena Gomez, and some quality family time.
Bieber and SelGo were spotted leaving Maggiano’s Little Italy restaurant together on Tuesday, March 1 in Justin’s purple car. Justin wore a blue satin baseball jacket while Selena bundled up in a black coat. If these two weren’t huge pop stars you’d think they were just two normal teenagers going out on a date!
Justin’s family and the rest of his friends weren’t spotted leaving the restaurant with the “Baby” singer but he did enjoy some good family time prior to the dinner: Justin tweeted that he flew in his grandmother to Los Angeles to celebrate and “got surprised.” So mysterious!
Partying wasn’t the only thing on Justin’s agenda for his birthday, the pop star also helped raise over $45,000 for charity:water, a non-profit charity that provides clean drinking water to people in developing nations, as part of his celebration. Justin asked his many fans to send money to the charity in lieu of gifts and the Beliebers raised $45,000 in a little over 24 hours. See, even when Justin is celebrating his b-day he is helping others!
